Diesel/Heavy-Duty Vehicle Instructor
We are looking for a Diesel/Heavy-Duty Vehicle Instructor that would like to join our team at Energy Transfer Technology. We are a Technical Training Company that provides Training Programs in a variety of Industries to customers all over the United States. Instructor should have some previous instructing/presentation experience; as well as a proficient background in Diesel & Heavy-Duty Vehicles.
Job Responsibilities:
- Our programs are hands-on. You will lecture, but the majority of time will be spent teaching people how to properly perform tasks on real equipment.
- Class sizes of 8-10 Student Technicians/Apprentices
-Program Examples: Air Brakes, Basic Electrical Diagnostics, Diesel Engine Controls, Diesel Engine Emissions, Multiplexing, Preventative Maintenance, Diesel Diagnostics and Troubleshooting
Required Work Experience and Skills
-Significant experience in the field of diesel technology, either mechanic or manufacturing.
-ASE Certifications a plus, but not required.
-Comfort with technology, both learning and diagnostic a must.
-Must be willing to stay updated with new diesel technology
-Job Types: Full-time, Part-time
Experience:
-Diesel Engine Repair: 5 years (Preferred)
-Relevant: 2 years (Preferred)
