On any given day our developers are building products that manage nearly a trillion dollars of potential real estate transactions.- Essential Duties and Responsibilities
- P roduce bullet-proof code that is robust, efficient, and maintainable; primary tools are Microsoft SQL Server and Power BI.
- Collaborates with business teams to improve data models that feed business intelligence tools, increasing data accessibility and fostering data-driven decision making across the organization.
- Implements processes and systems to monitor data quality, ensuring production data is always accurate and available for key stakeholders and business processes that depend on it.
- Works closely with a team of frontend and backend engineers, database administrators, and analysts.
- Develop visualizations through Power BI that answer key strategic questions.
- 3+ years of experience with Microsoft SQL Server
- 3+ years of experience optimizing large complicated SQL statements
- 3+ years of experience troubleshooting common database issues
- 3+ experience in developing, implementing, and optimizing views, stored procedures, and functions using T-SQL
- Familiar with tools that can aid with SQL profiling / Performance Tuning
- Strong project management and organizational skills.
- Process oriented with great documentation skills
- Bachelor's Degree, computer science major a plus.
- Experience with or knowledge of Agile Software Development methodologies.
- Strong communication skills (to both business and technical partners)
- Knowledge of advanced SSIS concepts to handle complex tasks like importing large files, loading data in a database, etc.
