Sr SQL Server Lead
Position Description We are looking for a highly motivated and dynamic Senior SQL Server developer who will be working with a large team in implementation, configuration, maintenance, and performance of critical SQL Server, to ensure the availability and consistent performance of our SaaS platform.-Your future duties and responsibilities Identify performance and scalability issues using the appropriate monitoring and diagnostics tools and recommend appropriate corrective actions.• Apply data modeling techniques to ensure development and implementation support efforts meet integration and performance expectations• Closely work with the development team to review, evaluate and optimize SQL queries and refine schema• Design, code, program and load database models, tables, views and stored procedures and queries for the application/system to capture and analyze data using SQL Scripts, SQL Developer and SQL Server• Review and analyze data for importing, uploading and validation;• Data mapping and data migration between databases and developing software scripts that correctly capture the data being migrated• Manage SQL Server databases through multiple product lifecycle environments, from development to mission-critical production systems.• Configure and maintain database servers and processes, including monitoring of system health and performance, to ensure high levels of performance, availability, and security.• Deploy, migrate, customize and integrate the redesigned /modified database system/application• Perform data validation and stored procedures development for and using SQL queries and MS SQL Server• Provide 24x7 support for critical production systems.• Knowledge of High Availability (HA) and Disaster Recovery (DR) options for SQL Server• Flexible, team player, "get-it-done" personality• Ability to organize and plan work independently• Ability to work in a rapidly changing environmentRequired qualifications to be successful in this role At least 5 years hands-on software development experience in the Microsoft stack. Should have experience and expertise in one or more of the following tools/technologies.
