App Dev - Generalist Guru Location: Richmond, VADuration: 5 months

Job Description:- Build software to improve the operational resiliency of the applications in AWS Cloud infrastructure.- Automate tasks to eliminate the need for manual infrastructure interaction by the engineering staff, whether it is code release or runtime stability and recoverability of the application in the cloud.- Build software to automate collection of infrastructure metrics and build dashboards.- Strong system and application troubleshooting and performance tuning skills- Work as part of a dynamic team throughout the agile driven software development life cycle- Collaborate with architects and product owners to implement enhancements or new solutions- Develop quality code with end to end unit, functional and integration test cases- Conduct design and peer code review to ensure compliance with standards- Estimate level of effort to develop code to meet acceptance criteria- Ensure adherence to continuous improvement practices as required to meet quality / time to market imperatives- Should own the support of overall software solution as needed- Share best practices and improve processes within and across sprint teams, and mentor more junior developers- Conduct analysis of organizational needs and goals for the development and implementation of application systems- Review, analyze, and modify programming systems including coding, testing, debugging and installing for a large-scale system- Monitor operating efficiency of existing application systems

Sr Developer:

Basic Qualifications:- 4- 6 years of Software engineering experience- 2+ years experience of Python- 2+ years experience with AWS Cloud, devops and use of boto3 library- 2+ years experience in Agile Development- 2+ years experience in Docker, GitHub, Terraform, Jenkins & Artifactory- 1+ years experience in REST APIs/Microservices development
