Our client, a bank holding company, is seeking an App Dev - Java - Lead
Location: Richmond, VA Position Type: Contract Job Summary: The individual will help work on developing an orchestration application for managing user triggered, scheduled, and CI/CD test workflows for the enterprise. Teams will use the application to test build and cloud deployments, manually trigger tests, or schedule nightly or weekly runs of regression tests. The application needs to be able to scale to the requirements of the users and needs to be highly available and resilient. General skill set requirements:- Strong software engineering background including data structures and algorithms
- DevOps and orchestration tools for CI/CD (ie. Apache Airflow, Argo Workflows, AWS Step Functions, Jenkins)
- Java, Spring Framework, and Python
- AWS services DynamoDB, ECS, Elasticache Redis, RDS, SNS, SQS
- HTTP, REST API, and microservice architecture
- Docker, Containers, Kubernetes
- Data object formats JSON, XML, YAML
