Our client, one of the largest banks in the US with wealth management, investment banking, and international business, is seeking an Application Programmer IV

Location: Richmond, VA

Position Type: IT-Contract

Job Summary:

Basic understanding of infrastructure technologies like Network switches, DNS, Active directory, firewall, load balancer, mainframe, MS Exchange, database, compute, backup, storage, voice systems, etc. Prior experience conducting technology risk assessments Prior experience working on audit and/or regulatory issues.

Job Responsibilities:

  • Primarily responsible for documenting and maintaining accurate information that comes out of the meetings with the SMEs, Infrastructure owners and IPR team that will be used to develop restoration plans.
  • Primarily responsible for drafting the initial restoration plan, on behalf of the application owner, using the template in a timely manner ready for review by SMEs and key IPR team members.
  • Primarily responsible in ensuring high accuracy in the content and consistency in the approach for every restoral plan being developed Serves as the primary point of contact for the SMEs for any query related to this initiative.
  • Liaise with other infrastructure team members to achieve the desired result Infrastructure Protection and Recovery (IPR) team is seeking skilled and experienced service delivery consultant responsible for the documentation, development and testing of the infrastructure restoral plan that will be used by the Bank to address severe events that will have significant impact to the Banks ability to do business with its customers.
  • Focus includes working very closely with domain owners and Subject Matter Experts (SMEs) to develop detailed restoration plans and associated testing.

Required Skills:

  • Minimum 5+ years technical writing experience
