About the Opportunity

Our National IT End User Services (EUS) department has an opening for an Associate Engineer.

As an Associate Engineer, you will report to the Group Vice President of End User Services and develop conceptual, logical and physical IT engineering designs that support the infrastructure requirements technical and business application projects. You will analyze technical infrastructure design business requirements to ensure traceability of the design to the business requirements, assess testing requirements and prepare testing strategies, and prepare implementation and transition plans.

What You Will Do
  • Resolve hardware issues and problems affecting application systems.
  • Design, code, test, debugs document, install and maintain software/hardware enhancements to support current release levels.
  • Perform change and problem management using standard tools following FRIT change management policies and procedures for software/hardware propagation to other platforms and/or environments. Ensures conformance with existing system capability.
  • Evaluate design strategies, identify potential design problems, recommend improvements.
  • Use available tools to automate manual processes.
  • Interpret technical standards to apply programming and design techniques.

Qualifications:
  • HS Diploma Required / Bachelor's Degree preferred
  • AWS tools/technologies
  • Cloud Infrastructure
  • 0 to 3+ years of relevant work experience
