Current NeedInternal Audit Manager to conduct regulatory and compliance audits. Develops formal written reports to communicate audit results to management and makes recommendations as appropriate. Executes internal audits within established Internal Audit methodologies. Position DescriptionLead regulatory and compliance internal audits based upon a comprehensive understanding of risks.Develop formal written reports to communicate audit results to management and makes recommendations as appropriate.Must be able to plan, execute, deliver, and effectively collaborate on integrated audits with the finance/operations and IT teams.Review working papersActs as liaison between the department and key business partners/business executives in the development and execution of the audit plan.Prepare audit plans and understands the specific issues to be evaluated.Ensure that audit issues and associated root causes are understood, well defined and presented to audit and client managementEnsure audit issues presented are appropriately reviewed with the auditee for accuracy and completenessUtilize problem solving skills to add value to areas auditedDevelop formal written reports to effectively communicate audit results and recommendations to managementFacilitate obtaining action plans for issues notedLead post engagement issue follow up and resolutionSupport other department initiatives and deliverables as neededExercise professional judgment and propose value added solutions in all aspects of engagement executionProvide developmental coaching and mentoring to peers and staffTravel up to 35%Minimum Requirements 4+ years compliance and regulatory experience, or equivalent, preferably with a Big 4 accounting firm, tier 2 accounting firm, law firm, government agency, or Fortune 50 company Critical SkillsExperience in leading and executing auditsCompliance and regulatory experience with a Big 4 accounting firm, tier 2 accounting firm, law firm, government agency, or Fortune 50 companyMust have previous audit experiencePrevious experience managing an audit teamStrong negotiation skills and ability to express an independent viewpoint. Should be able to clearly and effectively communicate audit status and issues, both written and verbally, in a timely manner Additional Knowledge & SkillsBusiness process analysis skills in a manufacturing and/or healthcare services settingAuditing policies, procedures, and systems; with specific knowledge of Health Insurance Portability and Accountability Act of 1996 (HIPAA), Controlled Substances Act (CSA), Drug Supply Chain Security Act (DSCSA), and FDA (Food and Drug Administration) laws and regulations, and experience performing audits to determine compliance with themPrior knowledge and skills with European and Canadian privacy laws desirableExperience using data analytics tools to determine areas of risk and support identified issues preferredAbility to build and foster relationships with compliance and regulatory professional throughout the organization Education 4-year degree in business or related field or equivalent experience Certifications/Licensure: Candidates with Certified in Healthcare Compliance (CHC), Certified Compliance and Ethics Professional (CCEP) designations, and Certified Information Privacy Professional (CIPP) are highly desired Physical Requirements General Office DemandsMcKesson is an Equal Opportunity/Affirmative Action employer.
