The Program Assurance Function "Plus" enables large-scale programs (LSPs) to attain successful delivery and business value, builds and supports a System IT portfolio, and enables agility measurement and maturity within LSPs and technology delivery teams. Sponsored by the Conference of First Vice Presidents, PAF+ provides information and consultation to High Priority Initiatives (HPI) and Objectives and Key Results (OKRs) within the CFVP, BTC and TDLC with the aid of key program stakeholders from across the System through the Program Management Leadership Team (PMLT) as well as key stakeholders across the System (e.g Finance Support Office (FSO), the Treasury Support Office (TRSO) and the Advisory Group for Financial Management). PAF+ is a collaborative team with many shared responsibilities and duties. The team has an immediate opening for a business analyst, reporting to the PAF+ AVP for Tools and Standards.

Primary Responsibilities
  • Support PAF+ department and LSP engagement meetings governance by assisting with agenda planning, meeting prep and orchestration, notes, etc.
  • Coordinate PAF+ executive and Teams correspondence by maintaining and organizing messages in a shared mailbox, performing quarterly access reviews, and maintaining group-owned distribution lists.
  • Maintain and monitor electronic calendars, deadlines, and appointments for the PAF+ Director on behalf of the department.
  • Assist with planning ad hoc meetings with PAF + LSP executive sponsors, cohort members, and workgroups.
  • Coordinate and manage the PAF+ SharePoint sites by managing access control, managing site records and information, creating new sites, performing security reviews and documenting, analyzing, and communicating usage statistics.
  • Develop basic reports and complete projects of average to moderate complexity and priority.
  • Maintain and continuously improve PAF+ processes and practices, ensuring they adhere to relevant System and local policies and compliance requirements (e.g. records management, business continuity plans, OKR updates, etc.)
  • Perform a variety of highly complex administrative and business support activities; anticipate and manage workflow; coordinate upcoming deliverables with leaders and team members; support other duties as assigned in support of PAF+ and the Transformation Office.
Qualifications:
  • Bachelor's Degree or equivalent experience with 3 to 5 years of relevant work experience
  • Familiarity or experience working at the System level
  • A firm understanding of the System's structure and cursory understanding of governance
  • Experience communicating with executives and their staffs (verbal and written)
  • Experience managing complex calendars to include balancing multiple stakeholder schedules (working with their support staffs) and proactively identifying conflicts before they arise
  • Proficiency using MS Word, Outlook and Excel
  • Proficiency in SharePoint, including site administration and records and information management
  • Strong organizational skills and the ability to structure complex information
  • Ability to work effectively in a geographically distributed work environment that is collaborative and fast-paced
  • Ability to work in an environment with ambiguity
  • Proficiency in managing online content
  • Demonstrated process improvement skills
  • Demonstrated excellence in communication (verbal and written) with a strong attention to detail

  • The hiring range of the POSITION is 67,680 - 82,720 annually.
  • For candidates outside Richmond, VA, listed hiring and salary ranges may be adjusted based on your geographic location.
  • Salary offered will be based on the job responsibilities and the individual's knowledge, skills, and experience as defined in the job qualifications.
