About the Opportunity

National IT's Treasury Services Division (TSD) has an immediate opening for an experienced Content Creator & Strategist to join our TSD Marketing and Communications team, reporting to the Sr. Manager- TSD Marketing and Communications.

As a part of our Marketing and Communications team, you will serve the division by ensuring our messaging, communications, and content are both compelling, and timely. This dynamic role will partner with staff across the division to create the news articles, presentations, product documentation, reports, audio recordings, web pages , drop in calls, videos, and events that bring value to all of our stakeholder audiences. Additionally, this role will create communication and content strategies that continuously improve our ability to connect with our audiences in meaningful ways.

You will join a talented team of corporate and product marketers and communications specialists with diverse experiences, backgrounds, and skills. You will leverage your creativity, storytelling ability, and communications subject matter expertise to ensure that we tell our people first equipping them to speak knowledgeably as well as ensuring the business value we are providing to our stakeholders is readily communicated and easily understood. This is a hybrid position, with flexible in-office requirements from 1-3 times per week, depending on department needs.

What You Will Do:

  • Lead the creation and execution of communication and content strategies and plans
  • Design and create compelling notifications, news articles, presentations, reports, audio recordings, web pages, drop in calls, videos, and events to improve customer experience and tell our story
  • Use research and data to improve how TSD communicates with stakeholder audiences
  • Assist corporate and product marketing to execute campaigns that promote our division and products
  • Consult with staff to advise, edit, and optimize existing content to enhance our communications
  • Engage across the System with other teams like TRSO and National IT communications to advance OneFed communications and content
  • Help measure and grow the effectiveness of TSD's communication channels, including the production of performance reports/dashboards
  • Ensure communications are consistent with TSD's brand, tone and voice and in line with industry best practices
  • Complete routine tasks associated with creating, reviewing and publishing communications, content, and reports

Requirements

  • 5+ years of content creation and communications experience
  • Advanced expertise in writing, storytelling, editing, content development and curation
  • Proven ability to develop and execute on a successful multi-channel marketing and/or communications strategy
  • Experience producing multimedia content including video
  • Strong detail orientation and project management skills
  • Solid analytical thinking with experience producing performance reporting using data
  • Team player that can collaborate successfully across functional areas and seniority levels
  • Knowledge of MS Office Suite including Teams
  • Ability to handle sensitive and confidential information

  • The hiring range for the Experienced Business Advisor is 84,800 - 106,000 annually.
  • The hiring range for the Senior Business Advisor is 105,100 - 131,400
  • The hiring range for the Advanced Business Advisor is 115,000 - 144,900
  • For candidates outside Richmond, VA, listed hiring and salary ranges may be adjusted based on your geographic location.
  • Salary offered will be based on the job responsibilities and the individual's knowledge, skills, and experience as defined in the job qualifications.
