On November 1, 2020, Dominion Energy sold its gas transmission and storage business to Berkshire Hathaway Energy. Job Summary This LNG Business Development internship is designed for the student looking to receive hands on Natural Gas business development, marketing, research and presentation experience. BHE GT&S is specifically looking for a student with an anticipated graduation date of spring 2024 or later. The intern would gain experience in a variety of areas related to Natural Gas Business Development. Description This intern will help the department develop potential LNG projects by researching and compiling relevant market data. The intern will support our team during due diligence activities and learn the process for preparing an executive briefing for Financial Review. They will participate in departmental strategic discussions and support the Business Development staff. They will be responsible for final report out on their experience as well as a recommendation for at least three future project opportunities. Required Knowledge, Skills, Abilities & Experience Qualified candidates should have high attention to details • Candidates should be self-directed. • Be skillful in taking initiative, resourceful, demonstrate good judgment, and innovation. • Ability to speak persuasively and develop rapport. • Ability to write and develop presentations. • Proficient in computer skills. • Ability to plan and organize work. Education Requirements Must be a full-time student attending a 4-year university majoring in Business, Economics, Communications, Political Science, Public Relations, Marketing or Engineering. Student must have an anticipated graduation date of spring 2024or later. Selected student must have a minimum major GPA of 2.75.
