Day to Day Responsibilities:
- Accomplishes results through the efforts of subordinate managers / professional team members.
- Participates in long range software development strategic planning.
- Leads discussions with clients/stakeholders to understand critical business success factors and key performance indicators to be managed, negotiates desired service levels, minimizes business risks and diffuses conflict.
- Plans long-term development team capabilities based on business objectives.
- Directs other leaders acting in an advisory capacity providing consulting to the client and assigned group(s).
- Drives process improvement initiatives across the organization.
- 8+ years experience with .NET development frameworks and methodologies
- 8+ years working with Waterfall & Agile methodologies
- 10+ years managing globally dispersed development and support teams
- 3+ years experience working with Distribution business and related processes
- Knowledge of ITIL V3 framework
- Experienced in migrating to modernized technologies
- Skilled in collaborating with customer IT & business stakeholders, including preparing status reports and presentations to VP level sponsors
- Ability to develop forecasts for personnel utilization
