Job Title: Software Developer (Backend Focused)

Work location: Virginia, Richmond

Contract Duration: 6

Months

Key activities:• Upgrading from Angular 4 to 7 • Migration from Spring 4 to Spring 5• Mostly around OWASP related fixes• No enhancements or new feature development for now• Fixing any issues related to upgrades and migration • Changes needed to support 3rd Party library upgrades• Quite a few RESTful APIs• There few critical application and a big “Call centre” application. There are few more applications involved• Overall 4 million lines of code

Other technical details at high level involves:• JBoss Server – Need to resolve and Spring/library compatibility issues after migration• Hibernate• Java Server faces• Bit bucket• Applications are hosted On-premise
