About the Opportunity

The Supervision, Regulation and Credit (SRC) Department's Community & Regional Safety & Soundness (CRSS) Unit has an immediate opening for a Supervision Operations Analyst. This position reports to the senior manager of the Community & Regional Examination Support (CREST) team. The analyst will be engaged primarily in the team's core examination technology responsibilities but will also support department training and staff development activities and provide thought and action leadership to other important initiatives.

What You Will Do:

  • Implement new automated tools that support the CRSS examination function, maintain and support existing automated tools, troubleshoot/resolve issues, and provide our stakeholders first-class customer service
  • Support credit quality examination reviews through the manipulation and analysis of large loan data sets
  • Provide business line expertise, strategic insight, and development assistance to CRSS or broader SRC technology projects
  • Represent the department's interests on applicable Federal Reserve System technology-oriented workgroups and provide thought and action leadership on these groups as opportunities arise
  • Coordinate and collaborate in a dynamic team environment

Qualifications:
  • Undergraduate degree in business or management information systems, data analytics or statistics, finance, economics, management or a related field
  • Minimum of 3-5 years of relevant work experience, preferably in the banking and/or financial services industry or related regulatory agency
  • Demonstrated ability to manipulate and analyze large data sets
  • Strong working knowledge of Microsoft Excel, Tableau, and SharePoint
  • Strong verbal and written communication skills, including a demonstrated ability to successfully interact with internal and external stakeholders and manage these relationships
  • A strong customer service mindset, along with the ability to multi-task, prioritize, and meet deadlines
  • Demonstrated ability to work in a team environment
  • Experience with technical training, project management, and software deployment is a plus

    • If a financial institution employs a member of the employee's immediate family (i.e. spouse, child, parent, or sibling) (Appendix B Part I.3 and Part II.3)
    • If the individual was employed by the financial institution or affiliate within the past 12 months (Appendix B Part I.3 and II.3).
    • In certain cases, the recusal may be so extensive it could materially reduce the effectiveness of the prospective employee.
  • Salary offered will be based on the job responsibilities and the individual's knowledge, skills, and experience as defined in the job qualifications/experience. The hiring range of the Supervision Operations Analyst - Intermediate role is $72,000 - $90,000 (annually) if located in Richmond or Charlotte. The hiring range is $75,600 - $94,500 (annually) if located in Baltimore.
