Technical Manager - CoStar - Richmond, VA CoStar is looking for experienced Engineers to help grow our brand and business. From the ground up, you will help build the external facing, SOX compliant application that will be the financial hub for all our customers and products, in every county we operate.Our tech stack is modern and always evolving. Currently, we utilize a Micro Frontend Architecture with React, TypeScript, GraphQL, Elasticsearch NodeJS, Kubernetes, Docker, Azure DevOps, AWS and E2E testing with Cypress. Our microservice architecture includes .NET Core (C#), Kafka, SQL Server and MongoDB. We embrace CI/CD and are well on the way to being completely cloud based (AWS). - Develop your teams' skills and careers
- Take complete ownership of product launch activities and coordinate closely with DevOps to monitor
- Continually evaluate emerging technologies to identify opportunities, trends, and best practices that can be leveraged to strength CoStar's technology platform and develop practices
- Bachelor's degree
- 6+ years' experience in web development with JavaScript, Node.JS, or C#
- 6+ years' experience building API-driven systems
- Experience leading technical teams, working through complex requirements and offering relevant, timely technical solutions
- Familiarity with JavaScript frameworks such as React
- Experience with non-relational databases such as MongoDB or ElasticSearch
- Experience with relational databases such as SQL Server
- Experience with Kafka or other distributed eventing platforms
- Commercial Real Estate knowledge is a bonus
