A large, financial client in Richmond, VA is looking for a Copywriter to join their team, onsite.

- Someone with a range of writing skills to complete assignments, such as writing compelling headlines, to succinct product benefits, to long-form storytelling.

- Ability to receive and manage inputs and feedback from a variety of stakeholders.
- Ability to approach assignments from a customer-centric perspective while also understanding higher-level business and marketing objectives.

- Have a clear understanding of tone and the ability to quickly adapt your writing style.

Basic Qualifications:
- At least 4 years of marketing copywriting experience
Responsibilities:
- Collaborate with members of the creative team and business partners to develop and produce effective communications materials
- Can fill in for Creative Director, if needed.
- Expert knowledge of advertising and marketing trends and translates into creative strategies and executions that market products effectively
- Expert understanding for developing messaging based on intended audience
- Facilitates brainstorm sessions; recognizes ideas that should go forward
- Writes, concise, informative and engaging copy and persuasively communicates creative ideas and rationale
Qualifications:
- Bachelors is required
- 6+ years of writing experience (Financial Services experience, preferred)
- Experience crafting copy for direct mail, web and social required
- Working knowledge of MS Word, InDesign and Acrobat preferred
