PREPRESS/PRODUCTION DESIGNER FOR PROGRESSIVE COMMUNICATIONS FIRM
Superior Blue Strategies, a progressive mail and digital voter contact firm based in Washington, DC, Duluth, MN and Austin, TX is seeking GRAPHIC DESIGNERS to join our growing team of Prepress professionals who provide direct mail, collateral, targeting and digital services for a diverse slate of progressive clients across the country.
Our Prepress team ensures that our deliverables arent just creative and correct, theyre timely, high-quality and verified. Youll work closely with senior staff, partners and the Production Team to help create and deliver timely, accurate and creative mail programs for our clients
The ideal candidate for this position will be strongly self-motivated, highly organized, have terrific attention to detail, and able to assume a variety of roles including prepressing files for offset and digital print, making revisions to pieces, performing limited color correction, with a sound technical background using Adobe Creative Suite and strong Photoshop skills. Good proofreading skills are a plus. Successful candidates will have access a high-speed internet connect and reliable phone service, and are asked to provide their own computers.
We are looking to hire as many as eight freelance candidates for this position starting in summer 2019 to work remotely with us on a project basis through the end of October 2020 (and potentially beyond). We are interested in candidates to work daytime shifts or evening shifts (roughly 6pm-11pm) including potentially weekends. The position also requires a positive attitude, a flexible schedule to accommodate the vagaries of political campaigns. That said - we work with YOUR availability, and only schedule you if/when you're available.
