Assembler (Richmond Va)

Local panel shop looking for full time assembler must be physically fit as some heavy lifting is required for the position. This is not a sit down position and you will be on your feet for a majority of the day. Must provide attention to detail and be a team player as you will interact with other employees. Standard job duties are too plan and perform a wide variety of shop floor assembly installations consisting of but not limited to mechanical fastening of electronic/electrical components to electrical panels and electrical enclosures. Working from bill of material (B.O.M.) and shop floor routing, obtain parts and components necessary for assigned tasks. Check for apparent defects, damage to all components prior to installation/assembly. Work from electrical drawings, schematics, wiring diagrams, written, verbal, and own knowledge for determining location and placement of electrical assemblies, controls and components. Use common assembly hand and power tools, drilling, tapping and able to read a tape measure. Must have at least two years' experience to be considered for an interview so if you do not have experience please do not reply as we are looking for a take charge leader.
