A small business defense contractor in Richmond, Virginia is seeking an Administrative Support Lead. This person will be responsible for record keeping and project documentation for 30-50 ongoing projects. They will report directly to the internal Program Manager and routinely interact with the customer.

Position requirements include:

Experience using project scheduling and project management software, preferably Microsoft Project and SharePoint.

Knowledge of Microsoft Office.

Excellent communication and leadership skills.

Proven ability to work in a fast paced environment with multiple teams, on multiple concurrent projects.

Extremely organized and capable of tracking, managing, and resolving issues on multiple projects simultaneously.

2 to 5 years of related experience

Bachelor's degree or two years experience performing responsible general administrative work

Additional "pluses" include:

Experience working with technical personnel and projects. (Engineering, R&D, Science, etc.)

Experience working with records management software, especially OpenText.

Experience with strategic communications and executive-level/flag-level briefings.

Experience managing and scheduling social media posts.

Prior experience working for a Federal agency as active duty, reserves, civilian or contractor.

A Bachelor's degree.

Position is contingent upon contract award. Salary will be commensurate with experience and qualifications. This position is intended to be full-time or near-full-time (35-40 hours per week), however, the work schedule is negotiable for compelling candidates. 50% on-site work in the Richmond metro area will be required, but telework is available for the remaining 50% time.
