We are currently recruiting for a highly motivated, detail oriented individual to join our team as a Maintenance Technician. In this role, you will maintain all physical aspects of the buildings as well as general apartment maintenance on a daily basis, participate in apartment turn-key process, service requests and preventative maintenance programs.
Basic knowledge and experience coupled with diagnostic and repair skills in the following trades preferred: appliance repair, carpentry, HVAC (EPA Universal Certification), electrical, plumbing, drywall and painting. Must be able to read and comprehend documents such as safety rules, operating and maintenance instructions, and procedure manuals. A valid driver's license and criminal background check are conditions of employment along with a GED or High School diploma.
Responsibilities and Essential Job Functions:
Oversees the property grounds, general areas Conducts preventative maintenance to prevent breakdowns in all units as needed Paints, replaces electrical accessories, maintains HVAC Responds to all requests and or emergency calls in a timely manner Fulfills work orders in a timely manner Completed daily rounds, identifying and reporting problems Specific Job Knowledge, Skill and Ability Ability to communicate effectively verbally and in writing Ability to exceed expectations and excellent management skills In-depth knowledge of HVAC, plumbing, electrical and general carpentry.
