Position Responsibilities:
The Studio Assistant will handle a range of tasks to support daily retail and wholesale order fulfillment and other warehouse support operations. The part time position is for 10 to 12 hours per week (3 to 4 hours a day and available 2 to 3 days a week Monday - Friday, 10-5. Monday is a firm day we require for this position to have hours available to work a shift.
This position will be responsible for the following tasks:
Tasks related to packing retail and wholesale orders. Restocking warehouse with inventory from
storage area in adjacent building, unpacking glass, wicking glass and stocking shelves. Daily cleaning
and organizing of warehouse space.
Desired Skills and Qualifications:
Good communication skills and ability to take direction from those in our core production team.
Must work well independently and with others.
Flexibility in assignments and completing tasks as instructed.
Ability to lift up to 50 pounds.
Love of dogs (we have office dogs).
Sydney Hale Co. was established in 2008 and is located in the Manchester neighborhood of Richmond, VA. We are a maker of home fragrance products including candles, fragrance sprays and body care products.
