General Summary Our client is currently seeking a Digital Product Owner to join our Digital Department. Responsibilities: - Leading the planning, design and implementation of the client's digital assets for its existing mobile application as well as planned mobile application development work with a new vendor partner. - Oversee and help integrate mobile applications, interactive media, social media, and emerging digital mediums to more fully engage consumers via the client's app. - Responsible for each digital component, its level of contribution and its level of quality. - Work closely with teams within the organization and outside vendors to define strategies and solutions to achieve success. -Strategic optimization of user experience via digital mediums, collaboration with Information Technology (IT), Marketing, Sales, Public Affairs and Community Relations, and other departments to plan, design, coordinate and implement recommended digital efforts for current and future versions of the mobile app, including, but not limited to the client application and account integrations, accuracy of content, software solutions, analytics tools, and other engagement solutions. This position uses research, reports, and marketing recommendations to plan and execute digital engagement solutions. - Work closely with the Digital Operations Manager, the Digital Product Owner for the mobile app will align digital acquisition and engagement efforts with client campaigns, initiatives, and longer-term consumer plans. Requirements: - Strong leadership and influencing, communications, planning, prioritization, and project management skills. - Ability to understand user experience concepts such as architecture and interactive design - Manage multiple projects simultaneously - Maintain brand relevancy and continuity across the mobile app and other digital platforms and develop a thorough understanding of the business needs and operations of all functional areas of the client - Manage projects from inception to implementation - Collaborate effectively to maintain a steady flow of productivity throughout the process - Possess advanced verbal and written communication skills along with strong interpersonal skills to interact with internal customers and third-party vendors The person selected for this position will have: - Bachelor's Degree from an accredited 4-year college or university with major studies in Business, Marketing, Communications, Media Arts or related field, or equivalent relevant work experience required - Course work and/or experience in mobile app product management, interactive web design concepts, along with general understanding of popular mobile development best practices - 3 to 5 years of experience managing mobile application(s) or other digital touchpoint in an ownership or management capacity - Experience with project management, project management tracking tools, processes, and systems - Experience with content management, user stories, and digital product ownership - Application development life-cycle management experience - Familiarity with agile or scrum development framework - A comparable amount of training and experience may be substituted for the minimum qualifications Preferred qualifications include: - Experience with Microsoft TFS or DevOps - CSPO and/or CSM certifications - Gaming industry experience Special Requirements: The selected candidate will be required to pass a background investigation.
