is hiring an Environmental, Health & Safety Specialist (Contract)
for projected-based assignments at a client facility. In this role, you
will be responsible for ensuring environmental, health and safety
compliance with applicable regulations and existing company standards and
contributing to an environment where employee health and safety is
preserved.
We are building our EHS technical community for upcoming projects across
the U.S. This is an ideal opportunity for professionals at all levels
interested in working on a variety of projects on a contract basis. Typical
project assignments are anticipated to be both short-term and long-term in

RESPONSIBILITIES:
Support existing safety and environmental programs, policies, and
procedures.
Conduct daily work in compliance with client's EHS policies and
procedures.
Provide comprehensive EHS support in an industrial setting with
heavy machinery used to manufacture a wide variety of wire and cable
products for mining, power and other industries.
Maintain plans, programs, and reports for storm water sampling,
safety programs, etc.
Provide compliance support with federal, state, and local
regulations.
REQUIREMENTS:
Bachelor's degree in environmental engineering, environmental
science, safety or related discipline.
3-5 years of relevant EHS experience.
Experience developing, implementing, evaluating and administering
health and safety and/or environmental programs.
Working knowledge of federal EPA and OSHA regulations.
Basic knowledge of Behavioral Based Safety programs.
Basis knowledge regarding investigations and root cause analysis.
Strong MS Office computer skills; advanced understanding of
PowerPoint, and Excel desired.
Excellent written, verbal and presentation skills.
Strong organizational skills and time management skills to balance
program work and day-to-day operations.
