Business Systems Analyst on a 12+ month renewable contract role in Richmond, VA.Position – Business Systems AnalystAgency is seeking experienced Business Analyst to work on the RFP documents for certain technology procurements of the Agency. Potential candidates should have prior experience working on MMIS projects, either operations or Implementations.Experience working in a team environment to support agency to write and review requirements and RFP documents. Expert level knowledge of using MS Word, Excel and Visio is required. Knowledge of state’s Medicaid business rules and practices is a plus.Required/Desired Skills:3 years of Experience with business process re-engineering and identifying new applications of technology to business problems is Required3 years of experience & Familiar with industry standards (including Legacy, Core, and Emerging technologies), business process mapping, and re-engineering is Required5 years of Experience preparing solution options, risk identification, and financial analysis such as cost/benefit, ROI, buy/build, etc. is Required5 years of Experience writing detailed description of user needs, program functions, and steps required to develop or modify computer programs is Required5 years of Experience preparing and documenting Functional and Technical Specifications is Required5 years of experience with Knowledge of commonly used concepts, practices and procedures within a particular field is Required3 years of experience with Knowledge of MMIS solutions and emerging trends is Required3 years of experience with Knowledge of Centers for Medicare & Medicaid Services certification process and requirements for systems is Required3 years of Experience with creating test scenarios & test cases.
