Ashland Woodwork is a custom woodwork manufacturer (and installer), providing a wide range of products, to include mouldings, millwork, cabinetry and countertops, to commercial accounts, both private and government, throughout Central Virginia for approximately 20 years. The Company is a Class A Contractor, a veteran owned small business registered with the Virginia DMBE (SWaM), and certified by the Architectural Woodwork Institute (AWI) under it's Quality Certification Program (QCP) .
The Company has experienced significant growth with a healthy book of business and an immediate need, due to turnover, for an experienced project manager. Responsibilities include managing assigned projects from submittals through punch list to insure projects are completed on time, under budget and in compliance with established AWI standards.
Qualifications include, but not limited to:
Minimum of 10 years industry experience including 3 in a comparable position.
Knowledgeable of and experienced in casework and millwork manufacturing, to include products, equipment and processes.
Familiar with manufacturing strategies and value engineering techniques to achieve process improvements.
Ability to read architecturals and perform accurate takeoffs.
Strong leadership, communication, organizational and planning skills.
Good computer skills to include MS Office and other Windows applications. Familiarity with Microvellum considered a plus.
