In need of reliable, skilled service technician, that can work without supervision, make decisions, complete service calls, keep good and accurate records of work started and completed. Must have valid virginia drivers license, no legal, substance abuse, or family drama issues. You will need all your own tools, 5 years or more of verifiable work alone experience, references, and have a good customer service attitude and appearance. You will need experience in commercial refrigeration including walk in and reach in coolers, freezers, ice machines, restaurant equipment and exhaust systems, HVAC units including gas fired heaters and electrical systems related to this stuff. You will be working mostly in Commercial work but will be needed in Residential work as well. This job requires a well rounded experience level.
This job will be based in Richmond and will entail travel all over the state of Virginia as needed. You will be home most nights. Over night travel is minimal, however is required on occasion. An employment contract and non compete (to the extent of Virginia Law) clause is required. If you bring customers to the table, this can be negotiated within the contract.
The ideal candidate is already working in this capacity, or is ready to advance to this capacity, but might be held back by current work situations or company politics. We are a small family owned company which has its own characteristics but we have a pleasant work atmosphere and easy to work for.
