Position Summary:
3+ years of a Roof Repairer or Window Installer. (Richmond, VA)
The Roofer Repairer is responsible during the application or repair of roofing materials. Unloads materials, cleans off roof, applies roofing material, and cleans site after job is complete. The Window Installer is responsible for installing replacement windows in homes and businesses, removing old windows, using power tools, fixing units, sealing fittings, and cleaning the job site. Can be an all around mechanic.
Duties:
-Unloading materials from truck.
-Lifting roofing materials onto roof.
-Clearing debris from roof.
-Scraping or pulling old roofing material.
- Installing paper and shingles to make repair to shingle roofs.
-Applying layer of tar on roof.
-Cleaning membrane to prepare roof repairs.
-Clearing out gutters and drains.
-Metal, shingle, slate, EPDM, TPO, & flat roof repair
- Locating and fixing leaks.
-Repairing damage caused from storms and high winds.
-Performing other related duties as assigned.
-Gutter installation
-Some carpentry experience
-Siding repair experience
-Replace windows

Minimum Qualifications:
-Must have a VALID (non-restricted) DRIVERS LICENSE.
-Must have reliable transportation to and from the job-site.
-CANNOT be afraid of heights.
-Ability to follow and apply direction from the lead roofer.
-Drug FREE environment.
-Non smoker
-MUST be a leader!
Physical Requirements:
-Must be able to climb ladders.
-Must be able to life 80 lbs.
-Must be able to use roofing tools and repair materials.
-Must be able to work outside on roofs for extended periods and in all weather conditions.
