If you have a 26' box truck and are looking to pick up 1-2 deliveries per week from downtown Richmond to the New York City area, please get in touch asap. We are a cabinet manufacturer in Richmond with clients in the NY area. A typical scenario is to be at our dock for loading on a friday morning at 6am, (load time is approximately 3-4 hours), and have that load in NYC the next morning (unload time is 3-4 hours). Some runs are weekdays, some need to be delivered on Saturday mornings. Driver is required to participate in the load/unload, but is not solely responsible for loading or unloading. I'm offering $750/trip to destinations outside of Manhattan, (Passaic, NJ or Jersey City, NJ, for example), and $1,000/trip to destinations in Manhattan proper. You are responsible for providing the vehicle, insurance, and all related expenses. You MUST have a current Worker's Comp policy, in addition to standard vehicle and cargo insurance.
