Linux/Web Software Engineer (Richmond)

DESCRIPTION:
As a member of our small development team, you will be charged with the design and implementation of the content management software to drive and deploy on online and in store and mobile solutions. To succeed you must be self motivated and able to learn new skills and deliver quality software.
REQUIREMENTS:
Experience with Jquery, jQuery UI, and JSON data structures.
Experience with server side development with Python or Perl.
Experience with Linux systems.
Good understanding of Linux system administration.
Basic understanding of MySQL and SQL query structures.
Additional skills in Clojure, REACT Native, and AWS appreciated
PREFERRED SKILLS:
1-3 years of solid experience.
Experience with object oriented Perl and an ORM framework.
Experience with HTML5 media and mobile UI development.
Excellent communication and problem solving skills.
COMPENSATION:
The successful candidate will receive an attractive compensation package, which includes a base salary, and vacation.
