Apply now…we would love to have you on our team!Job Description Summary:You have a passion for serving people and creating extraordinary experiences through genuine hospitality and superior service to our guests!Job Description:As a Room Service Server, you will offer world class customer service in greeting and serving our guests food and/or beverage through Room Service delivery. Responsible for assembling and delivering orders to the guest’s room.Position is FULL TIME. Shift is 6:00 a.m. – 3:00 p.m. Must be able to work weekends and holidays.Pay is $3.75 per hour plus gratuity with an increase at 90 days. Insurance is effective on the 1st of the month following 30 days of employment. PTO/Holiday benefits start after the completion of 90 days. WHAT YOU NEED TO SUCCEED:

Flexibility - This is a demanding business and we look for flexibility with work days and hours, but it’s also a lot of fun!

Experience – One year previous experience in food serving in a full service restaurant.

Knowledge - Familiarity of restaurant terminology and food service techniques preferred.

People Person - The best part of serving others is creating experiences for them that go beyond the expected.

Great communicator - Providing amazing experiences requires the ability to communicate fluently in English both verbally and through legible writing

WHAT THE JOB DOES:

Answer phone and greet guests with a smile and ascertain their dining needs

Respond to guest requests in a timely, friendly and efficient manner

Ensure knowledge of menu and restaurant promotions and specials

Take guest food and/or beverage orders and input orders in appropriate point-of-sale system

Retrieve and deliver food and beverage orders in a timely manner

Ensure guest satisfaction

Serve alcoholic/non-alcoholic beverages in accordance with federal, state, local and company regulations

Ensure Room Service is well-stocked at all times

Assist fellow team members and other departments wherever necessary to maintain positive working relationships

Perform other related duties as requested by Manager.

330 Room Hotel and Conference Center with over 60, 000 sq. feet of meeting space.

Located in Roanoke, VA.
