Full or Part time Food Preparation Associate. Preparing Salads, Sandwiches and Desserts for a high volume production facility.
Summary
Responsible for preparation, assembly and tray set-up of cold food items in a safe and efficient manner. Must ensure that customer specifications and recipes are followed and that HACCP standards are adhered to.
Responsibilities
Punch in daily in complete FoodService Partners uniform.
Ensure all food is kept at proper temperatures per HACCP standards.
Ensure all food is properly identified with the item name, date, time produced and temperature.
Ensure all food is prepared in accordance with established policies and procedures, and completed within the established time schedule.
Ensure all food is prepared to customer recipes and specifications.
Ensure all food is produced/sent to exact hospital counts.
Ensure all trays are set-up per tray diagrams for appearance and placement.
Notify management of any quality concerns with any food product used.
Notify management of all open wounds or illnesses.
Wash hands after all breaks, lunch or leaving the production area.
Work safely and report any unsafe work conditions, accidents or unusual occurrences.
Ensure all FoodService Partners policies and regulations are followed.
Successfully complete ongoing training in the following areas: personal hygiene, HACCP, hand washing, sanitation, temperature monitoring, fire and safety, equipment handling/cleaning, safe work procedures.
Day shift 7a to 4pm.
Must be available to work weekends.
Ability to work an 8 hour day that will require standing, walking, bending, squatting, kneeling, reaching above the shoulders, and lifting heavy packages occasionally.
Must have reliable transportation.
