Seeking an excellent candidate for a Golf Shop Attendant at The Waterfront Country Club in Moneta, Va.
We are looking for a hard-working individual who possesses an outstanding work ethic, communication skills, outgoing personality, and works well in a service-based team culture with development and growth potential.
Experience Required
Some golf knowledge preferred. Flexibility with a schedule with mornings, evenings and weekend work required.
Essential Responsibilities:
Performs opening and closing procedures for the shop or store.
Responsible for the accountability of all sales and money transactions made.
Collects applicable fees from guests as they arrive.
Makes reservations (tee-times, classes, etc.) and assists customers on the phone.
Assists guests by selling merchandise and providing information in a professional manner.
Assists with rotating stock and keeping displays clean and orderly.
Assists with general cleaning of the shop or store.
May work with guest services and player assistants to facilitate the orderly start and play on the golf course.
Incorporates safe work practices in job performance.
Regular and reliable attendance.
Performs other duties as required.
