- Diagnoses and repairs equipment: - Responds with a sense of urgency to problems within the plant - Communicates needs or concerns of equipment breakdowns in the timely manner - Rebuild equipment and assemblies as needed - Modifies existing equipment as neededTHIS IS A DIRECT HIRE POSITIONResponsibilities:Job Description; This position is responsible for the safe and effective maintenance of the plant equipment in order to ensure safe and efficient operation of the plant equipment maximizing equipment availability and functionality. This is accomplished by performing routine maintenance, preventive maintenance, emergency repairs and installation of equipment. Must be familiar with OSHA regulations and have the ability to recognize and correct any system weaknesses.Working hours: 4:00 PM - 12:00 AMSkills:Maintenance Mechanic- 2nd Shift Capable of trouble shooting electronics with Industrial experience and PLC troubleshooting. Must be mechanically inclined including pipe fitting, welding, capable of rebuilding gear boxes, maintaining industrial equipment, etc. Mandatory overtime required- weekend work when needed etc. This is an hourly position (overtime for hours in excess of 40 worked hours)Education:High SchoolExperience:ExperiencedQualifications:Minimum Qualifications:High School diploma or equivalent3 to 5 years electrical and mechanical equipment maintenanceCommunication skillsComputer skillsAbility to lift up to 50 lbs unassisted and 100 lbs with assistanceElectronics/Electrical/Mechanical : 3 yearsInterested candidates must possess a solid maintenance background in manufacturing and be able to pass a pre-employment background check, physical, and drug screen.
