Family Promise of Greater Roanoke has an opening for a full-time Program Manager to assist homeless families move from homelessness to sustainable independence.
Primary responsibilities include conducting client intakes for shelter, providing case management for families in the shelter program, maintaining client case files, coordinating with local congregations for shelter, managing transportation and weekend workers, and managing the day center.
Minimum Qualifications:
Bachelor's degree from an accredited university with major course work in the area of psychology, social work, or a related human service field. A minimum of two years' experience working with children and families in a social service setting. Must have a valid Virginia driver's license and a good driving record. Knowledge of case management practice and conflict resolution skills are needed. Must be able to pass a criminal background check.
