The Rescue Mission is accepting applications for two full-time positions in our Women and Children's Center. The successful candidate would need to be available to work Second Shift (3pm-11pm) Third Shift (12pm-8am) and must be flexible to work weekends and holidays as needed.

This position ministers to women and families in crisis who seek shelter at the Rescue Mission. She represents the Rescue Mission in the spirit of Christ as an encourager while facilitating families and women to transition to productive and independent living.

QUALIFICATIONS:

1. Evidence of positive Christian Witness and lifestyle as referenced in our lifestyle covenant

2. Patient and loving attitude

3. Strong organizational skills

4. Strong oral and verbal communication skills

5. Working knowledge of Microsoft Office

6. Ability to multi-task

7. Willingness to work nights and weekends when needed

8. Desire to minister to and love those who need Jesus Christ

9. Ability to work as part of a team approach

Duties include;

1. Complete intakes on families/individuals coming into the shelter.

2. Supervise shelter guests, holding guests accountable to shelter policies.

3. Supervise serving line at meals and seat guests appropriately in the dining room

4. Supervise chapel behaviors; take attendance to ensure all attend

7. Document pertinent information in guest chart's daily

8. Be available to pray with guests, be a shoulder when a guest needs to cry, a cheerleader when they accomplish a goal, and provide encouragement and hope when needed.
