Valcom Inc, is seeking a full-time C/C Developer to complement the growing Valcom Embedded Engineering Team in our office in Roanoke, Virginia.
Job duties and responsibilities:
Writing scalable and maintainable C/C applications
Collaborate on the design, implementation, and prioritization of new products and features
Maintain and improve legacy code and systems
Requirements:
Proficiency in C/C
Strong knowledge of embedded development in a Linux environment
Desire and ability to work in fast-paced, highly flexible and entrepreneurial environment
Enjoy working both independently and within small project teams
Ability to multi-task between projects
Self starter and proactive
Bonus Points:
Experience involving any of the following:
ARM, i.MX, PIC
IP Protocols
Linux system admin tasks
Python
Scopes, DVMs, etc.
Git
DevOps
