Four Star Petroleum, Southwest Virginia's leading distributor for Wayne/Verifone Gasoline Dispenser and POS Equipment, is currently seeking pump and POS service technicians with a desire to grow with an established company covering Virginia and West Virginia. We are looking for professional individuals with strong communication, organizational, and customer service skills. These individuals will also possess the traits of a successful technician in this industry, including strong teamwork, troubleshooting skills, and a desire to continually grow. We provide everything you need to be successful. Wayne/Verifone experience and/or certifications are a plus; however, training is provided as needed.
Job responsibilities include, but are not limited to:
Installation and repair of petroleum equipment including gas pumps, fuel monitoring systems, submersible pumps, and product piping.
Repair leaks or damaged parts. Troubleshoot electronic or mechanical problems
Conduct work on construction projects as needed
Conduct compliance inspections. Visually inspect entire fueling components and containments for liquid or potential problems. Review documentation at the store.
Perform pump and dispenser calibration.
Provide customer service.
Requirements:
Virginia Driver's License with a good driving record
Ability to troubleshoot and utilize problem solving skills in unique situations
Background in Electrical Wiring and Troubleshooting
Mechanical ability and aptitude, knowledge of, and ability to work with tools, ability to determine how machinery operates.
Computer Literate
Perform duties in an expedient and professional manner.
Punctual and follows directions.
Respects their own safety as well the safety of their co-workers and customers.
Pre-employment drug screen required
Hourly pay is competitive and will depend on experience. Upon successful training, company truck will be provided.
