Description SAIC is currently seeking a Business Process Improvement Engineer to support our customers at NGA in Springfield, Virginia. The BPI Engineer will advise, assist, lead, manage and support the CIO-T Business Operations Division throught the development, review, coordination, adjudication, promulgation, communication of measurable business processes. The BPI Engineer will also the SME for the development, coordination and maintenance of all assigned process and procedures to include all process diagrams, SOPs, Checklists, etc. Duties include:
  • Support NGA CIO-TQ Business Operations.
  • Lead, manage, work and support business process development, review, coordination, adjudication, promulgation, communication, and compliance.
  • Conduct independent verification and validation and support to CIO-TQB to ensure CIO-T's business processes are clear, fact-based, accurate, automated, outcome-driven, consistent with external guidance, are not duplicative within NGA, and reflective of NGA strategic planning.
  • Support development/implementation of business process visualization.
  • Support development, tracking and reporting of Business Process Analytics.
  • Support development, tracking and reporting of metrics.
  • Support official records management for process documentation in accordance with NGA policies.

Qualifications Required Skills and Experience:
  • Demonstrated experience, skill and expertise leading, managing and working business process development, including diagrams, checklists, SOPs, manuals, and handbooks.
  • Demonstrated extensive knowledge of, and in-depth experience, skill and expertise leading, managing and working professional business processes.
  • Shall be skilled in the use of MS Office Products to include Word, Excel, Outlook, PowerPoint and SharePoint.
  • Demonstrated experience in the use of MS Word to properly document checklists, procedures, processes, SOPs, etc.
  • Demonstrated experience with Tableau, Jira, and other visualization tools.
  • Bachelor's Degree or 11-14 years equivalent experience in Business Management or System Engineering
