CACI is seeking TS/SCI cleared, dynamic technical professionals to join our UDS program to support our NGA customer. What You'll Get to DoCACI is hiring a Deskside Support Technician to provide Information Technology (IT) Help Desk support users throughout NCE Campus. In performing this role, candidate shall support all unclassified and classified IT support. The Help Desk Specialist will perform roles including but not limited to:
  • Ensure all IT support is documented by a ticket, either user or contractor generated.
  • Perform initial and recurring operating system imaging of Unclassified, Secret, and Top Secret workstations.
  • Serve as liaison for all IT issues requiring support
  • Perform user and object management in Active Directory.
  • Perform touch labor / troubleshooting of workstation, printer, VTC, and VoIP issues on Unclassified, Secret, and Top-Secret security domains.
  • Perform patch management and respond to Time Compliance Technical Orders on server, workstation, and network hardware.
  • Be familiar with Virtual deskside support

More About the Role
  • Provides service to end-users for operation, restoration, and configuration of information systems. Reports security incidents and executes corrective security procedures.
  • Understands minor system tasks (e.g., loading software, rebooting, systems) in support of software and hardware maintenance and operations functions
  • Installs and incorporates new releases, updates/patches, or other changes to COTS hardware and software (diagnostics failures or potential failure predictions)
  • Operates and applies automated H/W management and diagnostics systems (to include remote management and diagnostics) and interprets findings to maintain, repair, or upgrade H/W
  • Conducts hardware maintenance and minor installations on equipment listed in the specified task order and understands the inter-operational relationships of all components, to the extent required to perform maintenance services
  • Provides technical assistance to responding field service personnel

You'll Bring These Qualifications
  • Position requires a TS/SCI clearance is required for this position. The candidate also needs to be willing to take a CI polygraph.
  • Travel 20%.
  • Strong interpersonal and communications skills
  • Ability to translate conceptual requirements into business and functional requirements.
  • Must have 4 years of experience and a BS degree or 6 years of experience and an AA degree. No degree will require a minimum of 8 years of related experience.
  • Technical certification to meet 8570 compliance required
  • Physical requirements (walking, lifting up to 50 lbs, crawling for extended periods of time)
