Zachary Piper Solutions is seeking a
DevOps Engineer for a job opportunity supporting a U.S. government company. This position is fully on-site in Springfield, VA. The DevOps Engineer will provide mission-driven and data-centric solutions. Candidate must hold a TS/SCI clearance. Responsibilities for the DevOps Engineer: • Extensive knowledge of Infrastructure as Code (IaC) frameworks, such as Ansible, Troposphere and Terraform• Experience with coding and scripting with common languages, such as Python, Groovy, Linux Shell (Bash/Bourne/etc), and Powershell;• Experience with CI/CD tools, such as GitHub, Jenkins, Jenkins Pipeline, Maven, and Nexus• Knowledge of microservices and Docker containerization• An IT hardware and operations background with hands-on expertise in servers, storage and network device installation, provisioning and monitoring• Support administration of the devops pipeline to include Jenkins agents and Auto Scaling Group.• Support administration of OpenVPN and LDAP services for access to AWS console and CI/CD tools.• Provide main administration of AWS integration team account and environment• Create and maintain automated microservice deployments to AWS environment using Infrastructure as Code (IaC) frameworks: Troposphere and Ansible Required Qualifications for the DevOps Engineer: • Bachelor's degree plus 2 years' experience, Associates degree plus 4 years' experience, or a minimum of 6 years of experience, in a related field • Experience with AWS development and management (AWS Associate certification or higher preferred) to include EC2, IAM, CloudWatch, CloudTrail, Config, Lambda, Security Groups, VPCs, WAF, Guard Duty, Inspector, etc.• Experience writing code or scripts in a modern programming or scripting language (Java, Python, Ruby, etc.).• Must have an active TS/SCI clearance (must be able to obtain CI Poly).
