The Reporting Analyst is responsible for conducting full lifecycle analysis, to include requirements, activities, and design. The Analyst develops analysis and reporting capabilities and helps brief these to Leadership teams. He/She also monitors performance and quality control plans to identify improvements.

Position Responsibilities:
  • Interprets data, analyzes results using statistical techniques, and provides ongoing reports
  • Develops and implements data collection systems, data analytics, and other strategies that optimize statistical efficiency and quality
  • Acquires data from primary or secondary data sources and maintains databases/data systems
  • Identifies, analyzes, and interprets trends or patterns in complex data sets
  • Works with management to prioritize business and information needs
  • Locates and defines new process improvement opportunities
  • As a team player, drives Problem Management for the Customer, recommending long term IT solutions to persistent or emerging Enterprise impacting anomalies
  • Supports Problem Management Board facilitation
  • Supports Major Incident Management, organizing, coordinating, and leading Technical Exchange Meetings to find and implement resolution
  • Presents data to Management and Leadership teams

Required Qualifications:
  • An Active TS/SCI Clearance with Polygraph
  • Proven working experience as a data analyst or business data analyst
  • Technical expertise regarding data models, database design development, data mining and segmentation techniques
  • Knowledge of statistics and experience using statistical packages for analyzing data sets (Excel, SPSS, SAS, etc.)
  • Strong analytical skills with the ability to collect, organize, analyze, and disseminate significant amounts of information with attention to detail and accuracy
  • Adept at queries, report writing, and presenting findings
  • Proven working experience demonstrating the ability to design and construct new processes for data modeling and production using prototypes, algorithms, predictive and custom analysis
  • Ability to analyze large data sets to identify and document trends and corrective actions to assist with strategic decisions

Nice to have:
  • Master of Science in Statistics or Data Science
  • ITIL Foundations and Service Operation Intermediate
  • Experience with Tableau
  • ITIL Foundations and Service Operation Intermediate (optional)
