The Red Gate Group is seeking a highly skilled and detail-oriented Senior Cost Analyst to support the National Geospatial-Intelligence Agency (NGA) in Springfield, VA. This role is crucial in delivering comprehensive cost analysis, financial modeling, and risk assessment to support NGA’s mission-critical programs. The ideal candidate will leverage advanced cost-estimating methodologies, data analysis, and financial expertise to inform decision-making at the highest levels.Key Responsibilities:Work as part of an integrated team, engaging with program offices and senior leadership to provide expert cost analysis and financial insights.Develop, validate, and refine life cycle cost estimates using industry-standard methodologies.Analyze and synthesize cost, schedule, technical, and programmatic data to provide actionable insights.Conduct risk analyses to identify financial implications of program decisions.Support the definition and documentation of technical baselines for financial planning.Draft and edit high-level executive briefings, reports, and decision papers to communicate findings clearly to leadership.Conduct cost and technical research to enhance analytic methodologies and improve forecasting accuracy.Mentor and guide junior analysts in cost estimation best practices, financial modeling techniques, and risk analysis.
