Description SAIC's National Intelligence Community (NIC) Business Unit, USG Mission and Information Technology Division, provides solutions and services supporting digital modernization programs in areas such as systems engineering, multi-cloud computing, cybersecurity, data science and analytics, artificial intelligence and machine learning, quantum computing, application development, SecDevOps, cloud network operations, and secure communications. We are seeking a highly motivated Information Systems Security Engineer (ISSE) to join our Information Technology Transformation to Cloud Enterprise (IT2CE) team. As the ISSE, you will be a part of an Agile team, responsible for ensuring all products adhere to cybersecurity best practices in the migration of any project, program, system, entity, instance, Information Technology (IT) asset, or data that exists in the Sponsor's environment to a multi-cloud environment. Your responsibilities will include the following:
  • Working iteratively with the Identity, Credential, and Access Management / Zero Trust Architecture (ICAM / ZTA) team to implement architecture and Body of Evidence, and streamline authority to operate (ATO)
  • Developing ways to integrate security best practices into a scrum process
  • Implementing patterns of security controls throughout the solution delivery life cycle
  • Guiding and advising the scrum master and team members on security best practices
Qualifications
  • Active TS/SCI with eligibility and willingness to take a CI polygraph
  • Bachelor's Degree in Computer Engineering, Computer Science, or related field
  • 9+ years of experience in an Agile environment
  • 9+ years of experience in DevSecOps
  • Experience with product or project development
  • Understanding of Software Development Life Cycle (SDLC) models, as well as in-depth knowledge of traditional project management principles and practices
  • Prior experience working on a scrum team
  • Experience in one or more of the following Cloud Service Providers (CSPs):
    • Amazon Web Services (AWS)
    • Google Cloud Platform (GCP)
    • IBM
    • Microsoft Azure
    • Oracle Cloud Infrastructure (OCI)

  • Certification(s):
    • AWS Certified Solutions Architect - Associate
    • AWS Certified DevOps Engineer - Professional
