Zachary Piper Solutions is seeking a well-versed system administrator/service desk personnel to support an ongoing mission for an enterprise IT contract supporting the NGA. We are looking for an administrator to join the team and provide full desk support for the network, cyber, and software development teams.

Responsibilities of the service desk specialist include:

  • Use leading edge technology and industry standards to carry out system administrative processes and procedures
  • Demonstrated understanding troubleshooting, repairing, and maintaining classified systems
  • Communicate amongst teams to ensure processes are running smoothly and all the NGA's networks and systems are maintained to their highest capacity
  • Report to senior leadership with updates regarding the status of the agencies systems and networks

Qualifications of the service desk specialist include:

  • Must have an active TOP SECRET/SCI clearance with CI Poly eligibility
  • 2+ years of relevant experience with administration, network concepts, help desk support, and security
  • Experience with windows services, networking (Cisco, routers, switches, LAN/WAN), active directory, and remedy ticketing
  • Demonstrated understanding of each IT groups processes and procedures: Networks, Systems, Cyber Security, and Software Development
  • Go-getter" personality and desire to experience a full desk role in which you'll be exposed to the various realms of IT
  • Ability to communicate well in a team as well as present to senior leadership

Compensation for the service desk specialist includes:
  • Reimbursement for additional education or certifications
  • Promotion opportunity and chance to narrow in on a specific realm of IT
  • Opportunity to obtain a CI Poly
  • $75k-95k+ based on experience
