Job Number: 752 Riverside Research has an exciting opportunity for a Lead C/C developer. The task at hand is the conversion of a Python track fusion algorithm into a real-time operational prototype by Sept 31, 2022. The more experience the better, but technical and interpersonal skills are the priority.

Responsibilities:
  • Work closely with a system engineer and a principal investigator.
  • Direct the work of at least one junior level developer whom they may help select.
  • Expected to develop an initial and subsequently refined designs.
  • Prototype will be expected to receive formatted track messages (initial and updates) via socket connections, maintain track messages in memory, prepare the information to be contained into forms usable by the algorithm, apply the algorithm, capture the results and transmitted formatted messages. All within seconds of message reception.
  • While the real-time data feeds are put into place the Lead C/C developer will also lead the integration an existing synthetic data generation capability and the ability to simulate playback of stored real-world tracks.

Required Qualifications:
  • Clearable into TS/SCI within the project timeline
  • C/C with an emphasis on real-time applications
  • Software design and documentation
  • Efficient use of data structures for data management

Desired Skills:
  • Formatted message processing using sockets
  • Ability to communicate designs and progress to team and customer
