And we just so happen to be seeking General Warehouse Workers/Material Handlers to work in a Leading Distribution Center in Staunton, VA.What does a General Warehouse Worker do?The General Warehouse Worker will be repetitively handling and moving heavier products manually throughout the distribution center, putting big/heavy items on conveyor belts. The responsibilities include receiving, routing, shipping consumer electronic products and ensuring they are in perfect condition and identities.What’s a typical day and the requirements for a General Warehouse Worker?Able to stand, bent, stoop, squat, twist and sit for long periods of time.
Able to lift weight up to 75 lbs. repeatedly with or without accommodation.
be able to use an electric pallet jack
Able to work in a non climate controlled environment.
Drives a positive customer experience by building relationships and providing solutions to their needs.
Loads, unloads, and processes big, heavy and larger merchandise for inbound and outbound trucks.
Stocks larger and heavier yet fragile merchandise into specific designated locations.
Maintains clean work area.
Accurately process required paperwork.
Shifts & Compensation:1st shift - M-F - 6:30 a.m. to 4:30 p.m. - Pay - $19.30/hour
Shift Hours may fluctuate some
Overtime may be required yet any time over 40 hours in one week is paid at time and a half!
