Senior resource that has experience with cloud data management/datastores, cloud data aggregation services, managing data in a microservice architecture. This resource would have experience migrating from traditional enterprise relational database architecture towards cloud base microservice "eventual consistency" architecture experience designing, establishing, and managing a cloud data management systems. This candidate will (1) Work with the team to gain full understanding of current RDBMS and software application interactions, (2) Design new data architecture and pathway for teams to follow to implement a new design and (3) Assess and propose reasons to move to the new architecture vs. maintaining current architecture. Must be familiar with agile scrum methodology. The candidate should have enough experience and clout to guide the implementation in a credible fashion. Requirements:- B.S. Computer Science or related field plus 15 years or equivalent
- Experience delivering and designing microservice architecture
- Proven experience modernizing legacy RDBMS
- Experience implementing data aggregation services
- Experience with KAFKA, MYSQL, PostgreSQL, NoSQL
- Experience working with AWS cloud technologies

- Snowflake SnowPro Architect Certification

- Knowledge of data warehouse querying solutions, including Apache Hive or Amazon Athena Knowledge of data security, access control, and data protection techniques
- Knowledge of DevOps/DataOps on Cloud platform
- Excellent verbal and written communication skills
- U.S. Citizenship is required and the ability to obtain DHS Public Trust
