Our client is currently seeking a qualified Desktop Support Technician to join their team onsite at Sterling, VA. This role will involve providing support for Linux PCs. The ideal candidate should have a minimum of 3+ years of experience as well as experience with Red Hat / Centos OS and Ubuntu. Service Now experience is preferred. Scope of Activity and Responsibilities:
- New Linux PC deployments
- Linux PC imaging using the client s baseline Linux image
- Break / fix Linux PC repairs
- Linux PC patching
- Service request fulfillment such as software repositories, etc.
- Provide remote support for Linux PCs in the customer's Gilbert, AZ site
- Local Linux PC account creation and password resets
