Mechanical Engineer SAIJP00034742Sterling, VA 201643 Months Contract (Possible fulltime) Responsibilities:
- Create and/or revise 3D CAD models and drawings for production using SolidWorks.
- Generate and/or revise System Diagram using AutoCAD
- Create and maintain bill of materials (BOMs).
- Support prototype first article project builds.
- SolidWorks CAD - strong experience a must, including sheet metal design and assemblies.
- AutoCAD - Experience in design and documentation of cable assemblies
- Experience in the design of electromechanical systems
- High School Diploma. Required
- BSME - Preferred
- 4-8 years of design work in mechanical or electromechanical design
- Design drafting experience & familiarity with ASME Y14 standards.
- Knowledge of manufacturing processes, sheet metal, machining, welding
