Sr. Java Developer

Job Description

We are an established team who support Custom Border Protection (CBP) at Cargo Systems Program Directorate (CSPD) to help them accomplish the vision of a streamlined, paperless, single window electronic filing using Automated Commercial Environment (ACE) systems.

We would like to add a Senior Java developer (5+ years' experience) to our team

5+ years of Java development experience, Java 8 and higherExperience using Angular 2.XExperience developing against relational databases and solid SQL querying skills3+ years' experience with web services development - SOAP/REST3+ years' experience of UI development Experience writing automated unit testsKnowledge/experience with Docker, Kubernetes, Git and AWS Experience working on an Agile TeamWillingness and ability to support and mentor other team membersCandidates must be local to the office. Our team works 100% remote at present. Later in 2021 we expect to transition to a blended remote/onsite (Ashburn, VA) work week.

Qualifications:

Minimum of five (5) years' experienceMinimum Education: BS/BA in Computer Science, Information Systems, Engineering, Business or related field.Clearance/Suitability/Citizenship

Customs and Border Protection (CBP) Public Trust Suitability (Interim or Final) needed to start

U.S. Citizenship required
